Introducing The Bagel Counter by Circles: A Fresh Collaboration with The Spark of Hudson

The Spark of Hudson is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with Circles in our new cafe space at 502 Union Street. Circles, led by founder and chef Tepper, will be opening a bagel counter right in the new Spark of Hudson headquarters. This partnership was founded on our mutual goals of promoting learning, community engagement, and creativity through innovative avenues.

Circles is not new to the Hudson scene. They have been collaborating with local businesses regularly for several years, offering pizza and bagel pop-ups on the weekends in Hudson. They are best known for their pop-ups at Lil’ Deb’s Oasis, and have established a following that show up for Tepper’s delicious sourdough bagels. When The Spark put out a request for proposals for vendors for the cafe space, Circles’ proposal hit all the checkboxes for what we were hoping for.

Our collaboration is rooted in a common vision for the Hudson community—enhancing educational opportunities, supporting community initiatives, and embracing innovative solutions. Caitie Hilverman, Executive Director of The Spark of Hudson, expresses her excitement: "We are so excited to be working with Tepper and Circles. Tepper’s perspective on community building and willingness to partner with us on workforce development initiatives make this an ideal partnership."

Before the grand opening, The Spark and Circles is hosting collaborative pop-up events. These gatherings are designed to showcase the culinary creativity of Circles and highlight our shared commitment to the community. It’s an invitation for everyone in Hudson to experience what this collaboration will bring to our city. Chef Tepper eagerly anticipates the fresh start, expressing,"Now that we have this home space I really want to focus on bagels and offering Hudson a bagel that they can rely on.”

This partnership marks an important step in our journey to build a more connected and vibrant community. By combining The Spark of Hudson's educational and community-focused initiatives with the culinary innovation of Circles, we are setting the stage for a series of impactful and engaging projects.

We invite the community to join us in this exciting venture. Keep an eye out for more information on the pop-up events and the official launch of Circles. Together, we are embarking on a journey that celebrates community, creativity, and the joy of learning in new and delicious ways.
