What makes a life good? Not lucky, not comfortable—good. And how much of it is actually up to us?
Every day we make choices, small and large, and those choices add up to a life. This series asks how to choose wisely: what we can know about the world, where values come from, whether free will is real, and how to find meaning in an age of machines doing more and more of what we used to do.
We’ll take a project based approach, seeking our own answers to these questions by studying what philosophy, science, and literature have to offer.
The series will be guided by Albert Wenger. Albert has spent years working through these questions, most recently in the Philosophy Mondays posts on his blog Continuations.
No background in philosophy or science needed. Open to everyone. Free.
