Take a deep dive into vegetable preservation! In this 90 minute workshop, participants will learn how to make their own flavorful pickles using seasonal produce, which they'll be able to adjust to their own tastes! We'll also cover the basics of fermentation, the technique used to make special preparations like kimchi and sauerkraut. Using these skills, participants will be able to cut down on food waste at home while creating cheap and punchy pickles to brighten home cooked meals or share with friends. Everyone will leave with their own pickles to enjoy and lots of information to continue the journey.
